Re-Pet
The SouthEastern Ohio JSWMD provides a service to pet owners and animal shelters throughout the six member counties in response to the growing number of pets that are either abandoned by their owners for a number of reasons or placed for adoption at animal shelters. We want to encourage people to use this site in order to find pets from a variety of sources within the district, or to find a good home for their pet without having to send it to an animal shelter at the expense of one of the counties or humane societies.
Types of Animals
Animals for sale will not be listed on the site, only animals that the current owner will allow to be adopted at no charge. Animals that are listed by shelters may have a minimal spay or neutering fee assessed. Initially, the site will only allow dogs to be listed.
Re-Pet Requirements
To place your listing e-mail the following information to repet@wasteabate.org
- 2 to 3 line description of your pet
- Contact information
- JPG image (preferably 640 x 480 pixels)
If you do find a home for your pet, please notify us as quickly as possible in order for us to remove the listing from our site.
